Description: The Wine Studies Program at Boston University is aimed at Industry professionals, wine collectors, those wanting to enter the wine trade, as well as consumers who want to learn more about wine. There are four levels to the program. Level 1 looks at the fundamentals of wine from how to taste wine, to grape varieties to the science behind growing grapes and making wine. Level 2 is a comprehensive survey of the world’s wines. In level 3 students take on blind wine tasting, learn about the interaction of wine and food and learn about the business of wine. Level 4 looks at wine trade from local, national, and international perspectives.
