Description: The CALS offers courses online as well as at 6 other statewide locations outside of the main campus, including Apopka, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Pierce, Miami-Dade, Milton, and Plant City. The classes are often scheduled in the evenings and online to allow flexibility especially for the students who are working full time during the day. Undergraduate majors are offered in Agricultural Sciences, Natural Resources, Forest & Geospatial Sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, and Pre-professional Studies. The mission of CALS is to equip the students to face the world’s challenges of agriculture, food systems, human wellbeing, natural resources, and sustainable communities. The UF Community Farm offers the Student Garden and the Teaching Farm to allow hands-on experience.
